ABOVE, is a 24 page art book that was completed in April, 2024, in water color.
It was created on a 5" x 8" water color book that was easily transported anywhere, and painted anywhere on site. Since there was at least 3-4 hours of stand-by a day...the project was formed.
This book is the third of its kind. The content varied, from the first book: Being a portait of a friend. To the second, which was a giant flower from "The bullet in flower series." All were wonderful, because of the 'finishing technique' of the circles... But as the pages were flipped through, the idea of a landscape was inspired because the content of change from each page would allways be interesting, yet, once put together, became the big picture, which was the chosen one, obviously.

The rest of the works are about an idea that revolves around humanity's struggle to survive. The evolution of this path and the morals that guided us here. Decided that we will survive, no matter what...but having no bias, seems to be a reaccuring trait that grows within the population. Burried in justifying our indifference. Do we feel like little cogs lost in an enormous dream, succumbing to a corrupt reality from lack of a better ideology? This is fear of solitary thought, and changing the tide by ones individual actions.

The flower, represents earth and it's natural creations that live, like any other. While spreading its roots into our skin, we accept the beauty they behold. The circuitry running over the subject represents the technologies we use everyday, making us brilliant. And as the person rests on a bed of rock, revealing concerns for the ground we keep, the swirling waves reflect thoughts of imbibing nature, with a desire to preserve it.
